  Copying videos and photos to external storage devices

  I would like recommendations on hardware, software and editing software used to copy old recorded tapes and photos. I have the cameras, vcrs, etc to play the material, but would like suggestions on copying the files to other storage device and possible editing it.

  Hello Tom,

  First, you are going to need a USB capture to grap the video output from either Composite video/RCA or SVIDEO from your devices. Tap or click here for a recommendation.

  Then you will want to install OBS (Open Broadast Software) then configure your USB Capture device for it to record playback.
